From Sarah’s first email, I knew this was going to be such a special day! Sarah and Quinton became engaged this past July just before Quinton, who serves in the US Navy, was deployed. The two couldn’t wait to tie the knot so they planned an intimate ceremony at Quinton’s Childhood Church, St. John Lutheran, in Joliet, Illinois, when he was on his 10 day leave. With just close family and friends present, the two held hands and smiled as they exchanged vows.
Sarah and Quinton met seven years ago, in high school, after Quinton saw her photo on Facebook though a mutual friend. He sent her a message and from then on they have talked nearly every day. After graduation, each of them followed their dreams. Sarah became a special education teacher who works with severely disabled children and children with hearing loss. Quinton enlisted into the Navy where he has been deployed several times and is currently stationed in San Diego. I am so thankful for people like Sarah and Quinton who both dedicate their lives to serving and helping others. You two are such an inspiration.
After the ceremony, we traveled to the Downtown Naperville Riverwalk for some sunset newly wed pictures. Braving the sub-zero winter temperatures, we captured some moments on the bridge that Sarah and Quinton visited each year since they’ve been dating for a photo. It was such a romantic moment to capture their first photos as a married couple on this special bridge! Speaking of romance, even though it was so cold that day, you’d never guess because the warmth and love between these two just warmed everything up!
Sarah and Quinton, thank you so much for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding day! You both are two of the kindest and most loving people I have met. Thank you for allowing me to take photos of you both in sub zero temperatures because the sunset light was just so dreamy that we couldn’t miss going back out again. You both are two of the most amazing people I have met. The love you share is truly one of a kind and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations again to the BEAUTIFUL couple, Mr. and Mrs. Beyer.
