CHICAGO WINTER WEDDING | BLUE DOOR FARM STAND

Weddings

Hello friends! I am so happy to share with you Diane and Charlie’s cozy Chicago winter wedding!  These two are some of my dearest friends and I am so honored to be part of their wedding day. Diane and Charlie planned a romantic and intimate wedding at the Blue Door Farm Stand in Lincoln Park. Seriously friends, this CEREMONY!!  It was one of the most heartfelt and emotional vow exchange I’ve ever witnessed!

Let’s start from the beginning of their day.  Up on the private level of the restaurant, the bride and groom welcomed their guests with big hugs and huge smiles.  So much love, laughter and excitement filled up the room.  Diane was radiant as she spoke to each of her guests.  Her beautiful smile seemed to sparkle just a little bit more on her wedding day.  It made me so happy to see my friend’s excitement that day as she was about to marry the man she loves!

And now for that ceremony!!  The ceremony started as their ten guests gathered immediately around them.  The warmth, energy and love surrounding the couple was unmistakable.  Charlie’s hands held hers tight as she smiled up at him with tear filled eyes as they promised to love each other forever from this day forward.  When the couple shared a sweet kiss when they became husband and wife, their friends and family cheered.

Let the Celebration begin!  Charlie’s dad kicked off the celebration with a loving toast to his son and daughter-in-law.  He talked about how he watched Diane and Charlie’s love grow and how they perfectly complemented each other.  Following the toast, we enjoyed a delicious three course lunch as the newly weds relaxed and enjoyed their special day with family and friends.

Diane and Charlie, congratulations again!  Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your Chicago wedding!  I am so thankful to call you both good friends.  I look forward to seeing all the happiness the future brings to you both!

xx,

Lisa
