Downtown Chicago Anniversary Session

Portraits

Hi friends, I am so thrilled to share Sabrina and Brewer’s downtown Chicago Anniversary Session!!  First of all, I think anniversary sessions should be done way more often!  It hadn’t been since Sabrina and Brewer’s wedding six years ago that they’d have photos of the two of them taken professionally together!  Despite 6 years since being in front of the camera, Sabrina and Brewer were so comfortable and natural in front of the camera! Before I share their gorgeous photos, I wanted to tell you a little about this sweet couple.

Sabrina and Brewer met back in college at Texas A&M.  Brewer was a couple grades ahead of Sabrina, so when Brewer took his fist job out of college in Dallas, the two would visit each other as often as possible.  One cute story Sabrina shared is when she had her tonsils taken out.  Brewer came back to College Station to take care of her.

When he arrived, he was surprised to hear that Sabrina wanted to grab pizza at their favorite pizza dive on campus.  The two went and as Sabrina took her first bite, she realized how painful eating her favorite pizza would be.  It was so cute to watch the two tell this little moment of their love story.  They both smiled at each other and laughed while telling the story.  What I really loved about hearing this story is that I could see how nurturing and caring they are towards each other.

Brewer proposed to Sabrina in Rockefeller Center in NYC.  She said YES and they planned an intimate wedding back at home in, TX.  Brewer’s job eventually took the two of them to Vancouver, Chicago, Boston and back to Chicago.  Even though change is a big part of their lives together, what remains the same is the love they share, the kindness and respect between the two and how nurturing they are towards one another.  One photos I included, was a candid moment when Sabrina would fix Brewer’s pocket square.  The photos is a little out of focus (hello film camera) but it is so sweet to see her dote on Brewer.

Sabrina and Brewer, thank you so much for having me take your anniversary photos!  I had such a fun spending the morning with you both!  You two are so loving, kind and fun to be around!  I love that you two are quick to laugh and share stories about your life together.  I am so happy to have captured this Chicago chapter in your life!  Enjoy the photos and I hope you LOVE the memories you shared together this summer morning!

xx,

Lisa
