Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve Engagement Session

Engagement

Hi friends!  I am so happy to share with you Amanda and Josh’s Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve Engagement Session!  Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending my Sunday evening with Amanda and Josh.  These two are so sweet and I had the best time getting to know them!

When I first met Amanda, I loved that she told me that her and Josh love to watch The Bachelor together!  I always love when I meet people that share my love of The Bachelor!  Amanda’s story got even better when she told me that Josh introduced her to The Bachelor just like Matt introduced me to the show!  (Sorry to admit that to the world, guys!) I knew we were going to get along so well!

Amanda and Josh chose to have their engagement photos taken at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve which is nearby Amanda’s childhood home!  The two love nature and enjoy going on walks together.  We thought this would be the perfect spot to take some late fall photos.

Amanda and Josh met in college during an Education class.  The two were friends and started dating their Senior year of college!  The two are both teachers in Wisconsin where they currently live.  Their perfect date night is ordering their favorite pizza from Jimano’s and watching The Bachelor (yay!) or The Office.

What I loved about working with these two was that they were up for anything.  When I asked if we could walk a bit into the forest to sit on a fallen tree, they were totally game.  When I asked to do a slow dance and twirl, they were naturals.  I didn’t have to give them too many cues to kiss, they did that on their own!

Amanda and Josh, thank you so much for having me take your engagement photos!  I had the best time wandering around Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve with you both!  You guys are so sweet and so easy to be around!  Amanda, you had the best outfits (including your coat) and your looked so beautiful!!  I can’t wait until your wedding next summer!! I hope you love the highlights from your Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve Engagement Session!

Hugs!

Lisa
