Alfred Lily Pond Engagement Session

Engagements

Hi Friends! This was one of those sessions where the weather started out a bit iffy. BUT thankfully I have two amazing clients, Emily and Eli who waited out the light rain. I’m so glad they did because this Alfred Lily Pond Engagement Session is beyond gorgeous!  I’m so excited to share it all with you!

First off, let’s meet Emily and Eli.  These two met in college as they were both members of the same student organization.  They became friends, and after Emily gave Eli a hint she liked him, the rest is history!

What I love about this session is that these photos capture exactly how Emily and Eli described to me about their relationship!  Kind, gentle and loving.  I hope you guy can feel that emotion, too, as you go through these photos.

Emily and Eli, I absolutely had the best time capturing your gorgeous engagement session!  You guys are the sweetest and I loved capturing YOUR LOVE.  I’m so excited for your wedding this year.  I’m so bummed that you had to push your date to the fall due to the COVID crisis.  BUT I truly believe this additional time will make your day that much more special.  I can’t wait to celebrate with you two soon!

Stay safe and healthy!

Photographer Tip

As a bonus to my photographer friends, I’m including my favorite tip for shooting in cloudy weather:

I know everyone always loves shooting in cloudy weather because it is easy!  BUT my tip to ensure that there’s no raccoon eyes on my client’s face is: I always look for where the sun actually is in the sky even when it is behind thick clouds.  I turn my clients to face the sun so that my client’s faces look flawless. Goodbye forever to under eye shadows with this trick!
