Beth and Connor were originally planning to tie the knot in January 2021, but at the last minute, they made the decision to get change their Chicago Glessner House wedding date to September 2020! I remember getting an email from Beth saying, “Connor and I have just done the craziest thing ever…we moved up our wedding to 3 weeks from now!” Of course, I was over the moon happy for them and so excited that their new date was open on my Chicago wedding photography calendar.
The two planned their intimate Chicago Glessner House wedding day with their closest friends and family. Beth and Connor planned their ceremony under a beautiful oak tree in the middle of Chicago’s Women’s Park. This location was not only gorgeous, but just adjacent to the Glessner House where the reception was at. As Beth walked down the aisle, the sun created the most beautiful glow around her. It was so lovely to witness!
After getting married in a traditional Catholic Ceremony just the day before, Beth and Connor exchanged vows in front of their guests. As they said their “I do’s” and they were announced husband and wife, the whole park erupted in cheers! Beth planned classic details with a stunning white bouquet from Flowers for Dreams filled with white florals and green eucalyptus. Additional details included a handwritten chalk wedding sign, hand sanitizer place cards, lush table centerpieces, and a signature cocktail. Everything pulled together so beautifully!
Beth and Connor, it was such an honor to photograph your Chicago Glessner House wedding day! It was such a pleasure getting to know you both over your (shorter) engagement. I am wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
