There’s something so special about New Years Eve! I’ve always loved to dress up on this night and add some extra sparkle to my outfit. That said I thought it would be SO FUN to come up with an Engagement Session Outfit Idea for New Years Eve.

I thought this beautiful black velvet dress by Doen looked so classic and elegant for a Downtown Chicago NYE engagement session. What I loved about this dress is its length, and that its skirt has a ton of movement which looks amazing in photos. It’s waist and neckline add some femininity.
I envision this engagement session to take place at the rooftop of the Ambassador Hotel (with a bottle of bubbly). Or the downtown streets of Walton and Oak Street or the steps of the Chicago Art Museum. I tell my clients to pick locations that focus on architecture vs nature in the winter so always keep that in mind!
For your groom, a black suit or tux (let’s get fancy) along with a pocket square to add a pop of color. I’m also a fan of blue suits so that would work well, too. A pair of velvet loafers would add a classic touch for your groom.
I hope you found this NYE outfit collage inspiring!
Cheers,
Lisa
